Tomás is member of the Antitrust area of FerradaNehme since 2017, and he also participates in the Litigation area of the firm. His practice is focused on dispute resolution in economic and commercial matters, with special emphasis in litigation in antitrust and unfair competition cases, as well as arbitration.
He has extensive experience in the defense of domestic and foreign companies in cartel cases, as well as in other violations to the Chilean antitrust regulation. He has represented clients of the most varied industries before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office and led complex strategies of litigation and negotiation.
Graduated suma cum laude from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, later he pursued an LL.M. at Columbia University, where he obtained the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar award for his academic performance.
He was assistant professor of the Commercial Law at Universidad Católica, and also Professor of Civil Procedure at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
